A very successful Student Loan Consolidation company started by Justin Bitner in 2006. Grossing over 1 million in its first 6 months in operation.
- Working with 10+ universities primarily in Puerto Rico to enroll all student in federally guaranteed loan programs
- Enrolled tens of thousands of graduated students in a free, federally offered and backed loan program to extend benefits, lower monthly payments and help prevent default
In 2008, a bill was passed at the behest of lobbyists for the banking industry that removed private companies from being able to enroll students in this free federal program, closing Student Loan Institute, and incredibly profitable company, overnight.
